Clare has definitely been feeling the love this week! Yesterday she got “mugged” whilst on the unit, having been nominated by Denise for an appreciation bag of goodies! Thank you so much - absolutely no need but the treats will definitely be enjoyed! ❤️

Clare runs all aspects of the work of the charity from providing all the goodies to the hospital, presenting to groups, meeting with wonderful people to do cheque presentations, managing the social media content, managing all of the finance, undertaking fundraising events herself (although we still don’t talk about the Great North Run), and completing all the ongoing admin and paperwork that is needed to run the charity. She does all of this alongside being a fabulous mum to her 3 daughters and alongside her work for the MNVP.![]()

Her passion for supporting the families and staff is relentless and is the reason why the charity has gone from strength to strength since if started in 2007.![]()

Thank you to all who have already sent in their application forms for the Great North Run. Just a reminder that the deadline for completed applications is 2 weeks today, so get those forms in to be in with a chance of running for us!
We are super excited and have some very important news to share with you all, but we are going to tease you, so watch this space!!!
We are continuing to stock the playroom on the Neonatal Unit with toys for siblings to play with when they visit and have just taken delivery of this selection of Happyland toys! Can't wait to take them so they can be played with!
Our new feedback display is up in the flats area of the Neonatal Unit! This is a way for parents to show what support they have found useful and share their comments & suggestions! If you are on the unit, get sticking those dots on!!
Craig Stinson is a great supporter of ours who has done some brilliant fundraising over the years. This has to be his craziest and most amazing challenge to date. Next year, Craig will be taking on the Everest Basecamp Trek and will be raising money for us in the process. Thank you Craig and good luck with the training and preparation! Having a baby can put a strain on relationships and being in the Neonatal Unit on Valentine's Day might mean your plans aren't what you expected, but it's still good to make a bit of time for yourselves if you can. Why not have a date by the snack station, or spend a bit of time playing/watching something on the X-Box?! You could use your Kings Mill Farm voucher to grab a bite to eat together! Or just enjoy some time as a family with your baby. However you spend today, know we are thinking of you with love! ❤️
