This Saturday, the amazing staff from Nike Unite will once again be running from Skegness back to the store at South Normanton to raise money for us. Check out their film from last year to see how much fun they had and the incredible amount raised. From 11 minutes you can also see an interview with our Foundation Manager, Clare, explaining how the money raised helps to support families with a baby on the Neonatal Unit at King's Mill or Bassetlaw Special Care Baby Unit. The Rainworth Riders have set off to cycle from Rainworth to Skegness this morning, raising money for a number of charities including us! Thank you so much, and safe cycling!
A reminder that our Dad's Event is taking place this Sunday at Polly Bowls Club from 3-5pm. Any current or previous NICU dad is very welcome to join us for pizza, maybe bowls, maybe games - whatever you fancy! It will be very informal! We will be joined by Becca, the psychologist from King's Mill and Tom, an OT from Nottingham who is passionate about support for dad's!

Are you a dad who has had (or currently has) a baby or babies on NICU? We'd love for you to join us on Sunday 5th July for an informal get together to eat pizza and chat about whether you would like to do something on a regular basis. No pressure to chat - you can just come and eat pizza! We will be joined by Becca, the psychologist from King's Mill NICU. All dad's welcome!
We were overwhelmed by the number and quality of applications we received for our London Marathon place and the Trustees had a very difficult job of deciding, but we are delighted to announce that our runner in 2027 will be Ruby! Ruby experienced life on the Neonatal Unit at King's Mill with her first son, during Covid. Owning a gym, Ruby is no stranger to sport, being a former international gymnast and now a personal trainer. However, this will be her first marathon experience and she is looking forward to the challenge! Thank you to every one who applied and well done to Ruby!
